There is no frontend or backend in my week, just the product. I judge my work by whether someone's day got easier. I ship alongside AI agents and review every diff.

EHR-connected practice app

A patient and practice app that stays in sync with the clinic's EHR.

The problem

A patient and practice app for clinics. It stays in sync with the clinic's EHR, so appointments and records never drift between the two.

What I did

  • Lead it end to end, frontend and backend: data model, APIs, interface and releases.
  • Designed the EHR integration layer so a new EHR vendor plugs in without touching the APIs or the UI.
  • Built the integration with a major US EHR: appointment availability, booking and the appointment lifecycle, kept in sync both ways.
  • Implemented role-based access for patients, doctors and front-desk staff, in the API and in the app.

From inbox chaos to one workflow

A multi-step approval process, rebuilt as one tracked workflow with AI doing the first pass.

The problem

An approval process with many steps ran on email, documents and spreadsheets. Nobody could see where a request was stuck, and every delay landed on the person waiting at the end.

What I did

  • Helped turn it into a single workflow with clear stages, owners and due dates, so every request is visible from intake to decision.
  • Built the queue and detail views teams use every day to move requests forward.
  • Worked on the AI first-pass review: the AI checks each rule, and a person can accept or override every finding.
  • Built the APIs and data model behind the stages, submissions and notifications.

Messy documents to clean data

AI reads the document, a person checks it, and clean data comes out.

The problem

Important information arrived as scanned PDFs. People read every page and retyped the details into several systems, slowly and with mistakes.

What I did

  • Worked on the upload flow that sends documents to an AI extraction pipeline.
  • Built the review screen where people check what the AI extracted, side by side with the original document.
  • Made sure nothing is saved until a person has confirmed it.
